Working with youth ages 4 to 24 years-old requires specialization.

Dr. Hartman has identified an integrative model that ‘speaks to’ youth and their parents so that the CBT (and all the hard work it entails!) may become embodied into the ‘character’ of these developing youth to hopefully then create an accessible resilience that helps sustain lasting results.

This particular model of CBT, which she’s calling Attachment-Based, Mindfulness-Oriented, Developmentally-Supportive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AMDCBT), is specifically formulated for the treatment of youth.

This AMDCBT approach is here to help therapists achieve this goal on behalf of their youth clients.

This training is a special addition to all therapeutic modalities, whether that’s psychodynamic, DBT, etc.

We welcome both licensed psychotherapists and pre-licensed student psychotherapists.

Each training day is designed to stand alone for those therapists wishing for a particular focus. However, we encourage therapists to attend the full week of trainings to achieve the fullest understanding and implementation of the highly effective integrative AMDCBT treatment approach.

“This is promised to be a fun, rewarding and big value training! We’ll get immersed in both theory and practical applications of AMDCBT and you’ll get to learn and practice scripts, the use of props/visual aids and translate the material to youth of all ages in a way they’ll not just ‘get it’, they’ll experience the results! I’m so confident you’ll benefit from this training, I’ll give you your money back if after 30-days of using this model (by Aug 22), you disagree with the effectiveness I’m promoting. Oh and I realize the descriptions are super clinical... but what you'll see right away in the training is that I'm a goof-ball, super youth-oriented and while I can be serious, I model how relatable we need to be with our youth clients.” - Dr. Julie Hartman
