"Leaders Are Made, Not Born" -Eleanore Roosevelt

Dr. Hartman has created a cutting-edge program to develop youth leaders in our community. Currently, there is nothing like this in Marin.The after-school youth leadership program is comprised of 10-week “Leadership Clubs”, divided by age, with 5 – 6 girls in each Club. The goal is to cultivate young female leaders in our community who are comfortable with themselves, confident, filled with purpose and a sense of belonging. This program will help to prepare young people to serve as positive role models in youth-oriented jobs such as "Counselors-in-Training" (CIT) at summer camps, babysitting, internships, and educational programs abroad. Youth can also add this as an "enrichment experience" when applying to high schools, colleges, and future job opportunities. Divided by age into Leadership Clubs, children/teens will have the opportunity to polish their leadership skills in a fun way using arts/crafts, games, drama, and more.
