Psychotherapy and Evaluation with
Children/Adolescents
I am a licensed clinical psychologist located in Corte Madera, California, just 20 minutes north of San
Francisco.
I specialize in parent consultation and psychotherapy with children and
adolescents (ages 8-19).
I have a developmental,
cognitive, behavioral, and relational approach. This means that
I select therapeutic
techniques that address healthy development, self-management, and
relationship skills.
My style is active and goal-oriented. I focus on desired outcomes
and ways of measuring for their achievement. I suggest 'work'
between sessions to maximize the benefit.
I use therapeutic models supported by research as effective with
these ages, such as play therapy, art therapy, sand therapy, and
cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques.
